The Plaza Beach Hotel is located on one of the most

An unpaved road separates the hotel from the beach.
Plaka beach is a wide stretch of fine-sand beach, several
kilometers long.

The beach has dunes and trees for natural shade.
It is possible – of course – to hire umbrellas and sun-beds.
The sea is usually calm and gets gradually deeper, so it is also suited
for children. There are many rocks further into the sea, so it is ideal
to snorkel there.
There is a watersport-center on walking distance, for surfing, water-skiing,
banana-rides etc.
The surrounding of the hotel is ideal for hiking.
There are many small roads
through the Naxos farmlands that lead to small villages.
The main town of Naxos, Naxos-port or Xora, is a half-hour bus-ride
away.
The bus-stop is in front of the hotel.
The hotel provides also transfers with their own bus to and from Naxos-port
and Naxos-airport.
